There’s something truly special about seeing a room fill up, not just with people, but with energy. With laughter. With open minds and open hearts. That’s exactly what happened at our third Lunch & Learn of the year.
This time, we tackled a topic that hits close to home for so many of us: Work-Life Balance. But not in the way you might expect. We didn’t chase the elusive dream of a perfect 50/50 split between work and personal life. Instead, we redefined balance as something deeply personal, flexible and aligned with what truly matters to us.
Together, we explored:
Why balance isn’t about working less, but working smarter
How imbalance shows up — from strained relationships to constant fatigue
The truth that one size doesn’t fit all
And the mindset shift from chasing perfection to prioritizing fulfillment
We paused to check in on our energy levels and asked ourselves:
What’s draining me right now?
What are my true priorities?
Am I really spending time on them?
One of the most powerful parts was the Balance Audit — a simple but eye-opening moment where each participant listed their top three priorities in life and work… and had to reflect honestly on whether their time matched their values. Then came the invitation: What’s one small change you can make this week?
And that’s where the magic happens — in small, intentional shifts.
I watched the room come alive not only with insights, but with connection. People leaned in. They nodded, laughed, got real and even exchanged business cards or phone numbers. Some reconnected after years, others met for the first time. And that, to me, is the heart of this Lunch & Learn series — creating a space where growth is shared, where inspiration is served alongside lunch and where people walk away feeling seen and supported.
This was #3 in the series — and I’m already dreaming up to #4.
But next time, we’re going after hours. ✨
July 3, 2025 — join me for Conversations That Matter, a sunset session with wine, heart and depth. Because learning doesn’t always need to happen during the day. Sometimes, it needs a glow.
With gratitude,
Nadine
